What GBC offers

Initial Consultation

Each family that completes a registration form receives a free, initial consultation - over the phone or virtually. In this consultation, the behaviour analyst & caregivers discuss:

  • The situation of concern to determine the best fit services

  • The goals of the family are and what appointments would look like

  • Any questions about what ABA is and what it can potentially provide for the family

Focused ABA

This approach is a timely and efficient approach in which behaviour management, skill development and parent training is combined into one package. With focused ABA, our team:

  • Sits with the family or home to identify behaviours & concerns

  • Conducts behaviour assessment to determine the reason (function) of the targets

  • Create and design individualized treatment recommendations to fit the specific needs of each family or group home

1

AIM Curriculum

The AIM curriculum is delivered in combination with a functional behaviour assessment to identify the purpose of the child’s/youth’s behaviour, along with on-going data collection by the family and youth to monitor progress.

This training is ideal for children and youth that struggle with “seeing the grey” in situations, are prone to rigid thinking, or those who are inclined to respond impulsively to their thoughts and emotions.

2

Triple P

  • A toolbox of strategies that they can choose from to best fit their current situation. T

  • Packages are offered in a virtual group format

  • Run once a week, across 6-8 weeks.
